At Shearwater cottages we know that your pets are part of the family and that you may wish to bring them on holidays. Our exclusive location means that we are in a perfect position to offer pet friendly accommodation to our guests. Catering specifically to dogs and horses, our pet friendly accommodation is set up to ensure that your pets are made to feel at home and welcome, just like you.
Accommodation for Horses
Accomodation for horses is available at Shearwater by prior arrangement.
We can agist a maximum of 2 horses (shared paddock) at any one time.
Paddocks are approx ¾ acre with automatic water, shelter trees or shedding in each.
Horse access to the National Park is at the discretion of Parks Victoria, you require a permit which we can arrange FOC – at least one weeks lead time is required.
A returnable $100 bond is payable cash on arrival & is retained if manure is not picked up.
Agistment per horse is currently $15 per night – can supply limited quantity of pasture hay at market price, BYO hard feed.
