There is no need to leave your best friend behind when you head to the Otways. Shearwater Cottages are proud to boast dog friendly accommodation for well behaved dogs. Dogs are allowed inside - bedding, towels for wet paws or fur, bowls and doggie treats are supplied to make him or her feel at home as much as you.

In addition to our welcoming and well equipped accomodation, you will find a good variety of beautiful long or short dog walks to keep your pup entertained. Dogs may also be taken to nearby Johanna Beach (on lead), or to Marengo Beach on the eastern outskirts of Apollo Bay, which has unrestricted dog access at all times of the year.

A note about our dog friendly accommodation

As pet owners we ask that you are responsible for your dogs when on holiday. When outside, dogs need to be with their owners at all times, as your accomodation is surrounded by National Park & enjoys regular visits from kangaroos, koalas, echidnas & a rich selection of birdlife, all of which can be harmed or frightened away by over enthusiastic canines.
